Falaq Islamic Community aims to create a God-conscious, prophetic, and model community that positively impacts our members, our surrounding communities, and our world.
Our mission
Following the guidance of the Quran and the example of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Falaq provides a space for members to pray, to make thikr (remembrance of God), learn, grow, socialize, dialogue, and contribute to those around us.
Nurturing Knowledge and Growth
Growth and education are at the heart of our mission. From daily prayers and thikr to our after-school programme with Hifz (Quranic memorization) and Islamic Studies classes, we’re committed to lifelong growth and learning for all ages. Our community also hosts skills-transfer workshops led by members throughout the year.
Spiritual and Social Connection
From Ramadan Khatm and Tafsir sessions to our annual Mawlud, vibrant Eid celebrations, and community hikes — our programs uplift both heart and soul. We create spaces for remembrance, learning, and joyful connection all year round.
Serving Beyond Ourselves
Our outreach programs extend support to the broader community through tutoring, safe study spaces, and regular food collections for a local school feeding scheme. We also engage with the surrounding community through events and exchange. Inspired by the Prophetic example, we believe in serving The Creator through sincere service to the Creation.
